I was trying to make the line in between the bricks the lines for the rule of thirds and the bricks to be in the the thirds upper, lowwer, left and right.

Good. Please go back and rewrite the explanations that are not about the rule of thirds. For example, in many of your explanations you discuss where in the picture you were trying to line things up-that is exactly what you are supposed to do! The rule of thirds is a guide for you to line up important parts of the picture. Fix the ones where you just say what you were trying to take a picture of by discussing where you placed things in the frame.
